Philly Patrol is built to minimize collection of officer-entered information.
Saved answers, overtime entries, field notes, scanned text, translations, playlists, and reminder data are stored on your device unless you explicitly share or export them. Camera and speech access are used only after you grant iOS permission.
When you use an online Guide, report-enhancement, feedback, or similar connected feature, the text you submit is sent to the dedicated Philadelphia service to provide the requested result. Do not enter information you are not authorized to process. These services are operational tools and are not official police records systems.
If anonymous analytics is enabled, the app may send a random installation identifier, app/build version, platform, and feature-use or app-health events. It does not include questions, report narratives, names, precise locations, scanned text, translations, or saved content. You can turn analytics off under Notifications & Privacy.
If notifications are enabled, an Apple Push Notification token and alert preferences may be stored to deliver PPD library and app updates. Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. Referral qualification may store a random install identifier, referral code, and eligible product identifier for program review.
Philly Patrol uses Apple system services and may use Cloudflare infrastructure and Google Analytics 4 for the limited purposes described above. The app does not sell personal information or use analytics for cross-app advertising.
